We are pleased to announce that partners from the AFFIRMO project will be participating in the prestigious 27th Nordic Congress of Gerontology (NKG) in Stockholm, Sweden, from June 12-14, 2024. Organised by the Swedish Gerontological Society, the Swedish Geriatric Association, Karolinska Institutet – AFFIRMO project partner – and the Nordic Gerontological Federation (NGF), this year’s congress, themed "Ageing in a Transforming World," brings together leading experts and researchers to discuss the latest advancements in gerontology.

On June 14th, from 09:00 to 10:30, AFFIRMO team members from WP2 and WP3 will be conducting a clustering activity with a symposium titled "Risk Stratification of Multimorbid Patients Across the Care Continuum: Insights from Three EU-funded Projects." This symposium will take place in the Jakob Berzelius room at the Berzeliuslaboratoriet and will be chaired by Davide Liborio Vetrano.

The session will feature AFFIRMO researchers Davide Liborio Vetrano, Mirko Petrovic, Lu Dai, Cheima Amrouch, and Hein Heidbuchel. They will share valuable insights on risk stratification for multimorbid patients, drawn from their work.

This is a significant opportunity to showcase the impactful research being conducted by our partners and to engage with the broader gerontology community. We look forward to the discussions and collaborations that will arise from this important event.
