EuGMS announces the 21st EuGMS Congress, which will take place from September 24th to 26th, 2025 in Reykjavik, Iceland and will focus on the theme “New Landscapes in Geriatric Medicine”.  

The event will address a diverse audience, including researchers, clinicians, educators, trainees, and healthcare service developers and will cover a wide range of topics related to best clinical practices and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence in geriatric medicine. 

The EuGMS Academic Board aspires to gather thousands of participants in an atmosphere of connection, knowledge exchange, and collaboration. Registrations are now open! 

Call for abstracts 

EuGMS has opened a call for abstracts with a submission deadline of March 31, 2025. Abstracts must not exceed 250 words and should follow a structured format, including an introduction, methods, results, and main conclusions, without incorporating special graphs, tables, or symbols. Submissions must be made exclusively through the official online system, as email submissions will not be accepted. Each accepted abstract will be published in the Digital Abstract Book of the European Geriatric Medicine (EGM) Journal, which will be issued after the Congress.
