Associate Professor in Pharmacology at the University of Padua. He growth as Scientist at the University of Milan (Department of Pharmacology) and in the United States (from 1999 until 2003), joining the Laboratory of Prof. Russell Ross in Seattle. His main scientific interest focuses on drugs affecting lipid metabolism and cardiovascular diseases. He received several honours, among all the award “Giovani Ricercatori” by Italian Society for the study of atherosclerosis (SISA). He was elected in the organizing committee of the European Lipoprotein Club meeting in 2017 and of SISA Veneto section in 2018. Currently Coordinator of the PhD programme in "Pharmacological Sciences" at the University of Padua. He has acted as PI in several research and training programmes and is the author of more than 100 peer-review manuscripts. H-index 28; citations: 2909.

Associate Professor of Public Health; Director of Specialization Schools in Hygiene and public health. Head of the research field on Evaluation of Health Care Services and Health Promotion. Graduated with honour in 2009 in a master of “economy and management of health care services”, University of Ferrara; PhD in 2008 in “Territory, Environment, Resources and Health: Environmental medicine”; in 2005 she completed her specialization with honours in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine; in 1998 she was graduated with honours in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Padua. Prof. Buja is Professor of epidemiology and public health and Supervisor of several master degree students and post-doc research fellows. Professor of Hygiene and Public Health, University of Padua. He was a consultant for the Epidemiology Service of ULSS 13 of the Veneto Region and consultant to the Scientific Commission of the Regional Epidemiological Service of Castelfranco Veneto (Italy). Collaborator of the Epidemiological Observatory and the Evaluative Epidemiology of the Azienda ULSS 18 of the Veneto Region. He collaborates in Regional Health Plan, with particular attention to the chapter on disability. President of Bachelor course of health visitors. He evaluated in Local Health Unit populations the health needs with a systematic approach, describing health problems of populations; identifying inequalities in health and access to services to ensure that the health services improve the population's health most efficiently. MD with a specialization in Geriatric Medicine, PhD student in Clinical and Experimental Sciences. Expertise in clinical management of older outpatients and in-patients with acute and chronic disorders. She participated as a leader or collaborator in research projects on different aspects of the ageing process (osteoporosis; falls and fractures; changes in body composition and energy metabolism in older people; psychosocial risk factors for cognitive decline, common chronic diseases in advanced age, disability and frailty in advanced age). Collaboration with the Aging Research Centre of the Karolinska Institutet – Stockholm University (Stockholm, Sweden). Author of 54 peer-reviewed papers published in international journals. H-index 14 (source: Scopus), and author of book chapters.

Associate Professor, MD with specializations in Geriatric Medicine and Nutritional Sciences, PhD in Experimental and Clinical Geriatrics. President of the Regional Section (Veneto-Trentino Alto-Adige) of the Italian Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics. Thirty years experience in Geriatric Medicine, consolidated expertise in the clinical management of complex older patients and a special focus on osteoporosis and frailty. Research leader in several projects and Principal Investigator of a National funded project focused on the gender differences in the impact of cardiovascular, osteoarticular and neurological diseases on health-related outcomes in the older population. Co-author of more than 250 papers, book chapters and inventor of one international patent. Member of the Editorial Board of several international journals. H-index 39 (source: Scopus).
