Arrhythmia Alliance & AF Association was established following the work by its sister charity STARS (Syncope Trust) to change policy to improve arrhythmia services. A-A is a collaboration of healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, allied professionals, policy makers and governments – all working together to improve the quality of life for all those affected by or involved in the care of those suffering with arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation.

Member of the British Empire (a high award) and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Founder & CEO. Expert patient representative and advocate who has led the establishment of over 40 heart rhythm organizations worldwide in the past 27 years. She has been working collaboratively with key partners of all backgrounds and disciplines to improve the diagnosis, treatment and care of both children and adults affected by cardiac arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death. Recognized as a world expert and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) on all forms of arrhythmia including atrial fibrillation and syncope. Regularly asked by leading world bodies to speak / present at global conferences based on a respected reputation as a facilitator who fosters an approachable and positive focus on collaborative problem solving. Numerous papers published.
